The Santa Cruz Sentinel takes a look at that city's plan to join a California muni-wireless project that will cover 1,500 square miles of Silicon Valley with Wi-Fi. Santa Cruz's Redevelopment Agency has kicked in $2,500 of $44,000 needed to start planning the project, for which a RFP is expected sometime in April.
