SOYO G668 presents a standalone IP-phone feature list
A 2006 product description presented the SOYO G668 as a standalone IP phone: it was meant to work without a PC while retaining familiar telephone functions.
Configuration and audio claims
The feature list included DHCP, PPPoE and static IP addressing, with configuration through the keypad or a browser. It also named G.711, G.723 and G.729 codecs, plus codec negotiation, jitter handling, packet-loss reconstruction, echo cancellation and delay recovery.
The description linked those functions to reliable voice communication over congested public IP networks. It is manufacturer-style product copy, not a laboratory result: the stored material does not identify compatible services, test conditions or observed call quality.
