THUS agrees provider acquisitions
On 2 February 2006, THUS Group announced agreements to buy Legend Internet and Your Communications. The moves were presented as part of a strategy to become a nationwide alternative carrier for business customers.
A larger business base
The source said the acquisitions would add about 14,000 DSL customers to the group, alongside roughly 106,000 UK DSL customers then associated with its Demon brand. Customer totals describe the position reported at that time, rather than a continuing measure of either business.

THUS also planned to dispose of its Demon Netherlands operation. Together, the purchases and sale showed a portfolio being reshaped around the UK business market.
