Currency converter for your trip

Planning cash for a taxi or an outing? Compare a dated reference with the amount an exchange counter would give you.

No account. No visitor API requests. Your entries stay in this page.
  1. Choose the currency you give and the currency you receive.
  2. Choose the dated reference or enter the counter’s rate: 1 unit given = how many units received.
  3. Add a percentage fee only if it is deducted from the converted amount. Read gross, fee and net separately.
Read the direction before copying the rate.

1 USD? CNY

Copy the rate for selling the currency you give. A board’s buy/sell labels depend on the counter. Confirm the direction with staff.

The reference has a date, not a live promise.

Reference table / RUB per 1 currency unit

Original source nominals are normalized to one unit. Cross-rate = RUB per 1 currency given ÷ RUB per 1 currency received. This is not a retail buy/sell rate.

CurrencyUnitRUB per unit
RUB · Russian ruble1 RUB1
USD · US dollar1 USD84.9048
EUR · Euro1 EUR94.9745
CNY · Chinese yuan1 CNY12.6739
THB · Thai baht1 THB2.53009
VND · Vietnamese dong1 VND0.00331284
TRY · Turkish lira1 TRY1.72673

The arithmetic, including the fee.

rate = RUB per FROM ÷ RUB per TO; gross = amount × rate; fee = gross × fee% ÷ 100; net = gross − fee

Calculations keep decimal precision until display. Amounts are rounded to 2 decimal places, or 0 for VND. Display rounding is not a promise about cash denominations.

Illustrative manual example / Not an offer

If you enter 1 USD = 6 CNY, then 100 USD gives 600.00 CNY gross. A 2% fee deducts 12.00 CNY after conversion, leaving 588.00 CNY net. These are made-up inputs to explain the formula, not an exchange rate.
